Sree Narayana Kendra (Regd) Delhi is a voluntary organisation registered under Societies Act on 31st Jan 1975, working for the social welfare of the people of India. It was inaugurated by former Vice President of India, Shri. B. D. Jetty in the year 1975 and the founder President was former Justice Padmavibhushan Shri. V. R. Krishna Iyer. Former Diplomat Shri. A. K. Damodaran, Justice K. Sukumaran, Former Minister Shri. S. Krishna Kumar, Prof. P. J. Kurian and the Honourable President of India, his excellency Shri K. R. Narayanan were the Presidents of Sree Narayana Kendra (Regd) Delhi. The main Aims and Objectives of the Kendra is to work for a new social order and a world brotherhood based on the principle of One Caste One Religion One God for Humanity preached by the great saint and social reformer of Kerala, Sree Narayana Guru. The activities of the Kendras are funded through membership fees, donation from members and well-wishers, publication of souvenirs and conducting cultural programmes. Its accounts are audited annually and it files Income Tax Returns Regularly. Donations to the Kendra are exempt under Sec. 80G of the I.T. Act vide Order No. DIT(e) /2000-2001/S.1338/86/522 dt. 8-8-2000 valid till 31-3-2003. Copy of the order is enclosed as Annexure V.
