Founder Members All the persons who have signed the memorandum of Association duly registered under the Societies Registration Act shall be founder members of the Kendra.

Patron Members Any person above the age of eghteen years who subscribes to the aims and objectives of the Kendra and who pays a subscritption of Rs.5000/- or more shall be a patron member of the Kendra.

Life Member Any person above the age of eighteen years who subscribes to the aims and objectives of the Kendra and who pays a subscription of Rs.250/- shall be a Life Member.

Annual Member Any person above the age of eighteen years who subscribes to the aims and objectives of the Kendra and pays a subscription of Rs.50/- shall be an annual member for the year in which the payment is made.   

Honarary Member The Central Committee may elect as Honorary Members or Honorary Patron of the Kendra individual for public service or who are eminent in the educational, social, cultural and professional spheres. The Honarary Member or the Honarary Patron will have no voting rights.

The Central Committee shall have the right to reject any application for membership without assigning any reason therefor.

The Rights and Privileges of every member shall be prsonal and not transferable.

Every member shall be deemed to know the provisions of the Constituition of the Kendra whether or not he has received a copy of the Constitution.

The General body of the Kendra may reduce or increase the subscritption for membership at any time.   

Termination of Membership

Membership shall stand terminated when

  • A member voluntarily resigns after paying all the dues of the Kendra
  • A member is convicted on account of an offence which, in the opinion of the Central Committee , involves moral turpitude on the part of the member
  • A member is adjudicated insolvent
  • A member's name has been notified as per these rules for non payment of dues
  • A member in the opinion of the Central Committee has become insane
  • A member is expelled from the Kendra by the Central Committee

Expulsion of a Member

A member may be expelled from the Kendra if he refuses or neglects to comply with the provisions of the constitution or his guilty of such conduct which is likely to endanger the stability and interest of the Kendra. The expulsion shall be by a resolution of the central committee, provided that two-thirds of the sanctioned strength of the central committee votes in favour of the expulsion. Proceddings for the expulsion shall be intiated by giving a notice of 14 days to the member requiring him to explain his conduct to the committee. The committee shall on consideration of the explanation intimate in writing its decision to the member.   

Membership of the Kendras

The Membership of the Kendras is open to all irrespective of caste and religion, language or region. Presently there are 23 Patron Members, about 600 Life Members and large number of ordinary members. Click Here for Membership Application Form
